Stacy McCoy LCPC, LPC
FOUNDER
Stacy McCoy is licensed to practice in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. Stacy’s education includes a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland. Stacy’s experience includes 20 years working with individuals, families, and groups, in community mental health clinics, substance use outpatient programs, in private practice, and as a psychological evaluator at a local hospital’s emergency department.
As a practicing clinician Stacy is trained in trauma response treatment, and crisis intervention. Stacy is skilled at using different approaches to establish a therapeutic alliance with clients. Once this bond is formed, they work together to establish goals, process thoughts and behaviors, identify coping strategies, and develop conflict resolution skills to help the client achieve positive change.
